Be Positive Message From MP
(September 02, 2020)On the day that Parliament resumed its duties at Westminster the local Member of Parliament for the constituency that includes Warminster, Dr. Andrew Murrison, welcomed the way the town is emerging from the pandemic.
Over the last few months and weeks the MP with nearly 20 years experience has followed the way the town and other local communities have rallied together including updates on local websites..
“Good news otherwise the town centre would look like a smile with a tooth missing,” said Andrew about the re-opening of the Poundland store in the Three Horseshoes Walk.
“In fact Warminster is looking better than other town centres in the area and the pipeline for attractive development looks good.“
The month of August has seen many attempts to return to a sort of post-virus normality which saw the town library top of a list at county hall.
“With the library re-opening and major traders now showing renewed confidence in the town centre, the future is looking brighter,” Andrew told Paul Macdonald by e-mails.
“Its been a rotten year so far. Let’s hope the run-up to Christmas brings better fortune!”
