(November 07, 2008)TWO of the three well-known Warminster printing businesses have successfully completed a merger under the new ownership of a Midlands businessman this week.
Warminster Press and Premier Print have completed uniting under one roof in Station Road this week.
"It made sense to share running costs," explained Chris Finch who had been running his business at Woodcock Trading Estate.
"It's a busy place here now offering the same high standards for both the sort of work I am doing and the work Warminster Press is doing."
Premier Print was primarily a jobbing printer which could do commercial work and Warminster Press is primarily a commercial printer that could do jobbing work.
The new-look enterprise now employs 11 staff with Chris occasionaly 'keeping his hand in downstairs'.
There is good news for customers of Premier Print. This week their work was being invoiced from Warminster Press.
"It has not altered my pricing structure," said Chris. "The new owner wanted to make the two businesses more efficient and it has worked."
Meanwhile, a Warminster accountancy practice completed a move out of town today (Friday). East Street based Nicola Jones & Co have moved five miles from Preston House to Westbury.
