Roll up for fancy dress

For a few weeks only costumes can be hired from a shop opposite Woolworths that is also closing down.
Francesca Hobbs has set up in what was Parfitts toy shop. It now has a window display of the ideas needed to transform a party into a colourful one full of characters.
"It is just for a few weeks but I had all these costumes gathering dust at home so I thought it would be good," explained Francesca.
The shop now looks like the backstage at a theatre as rows of outfits and costumes hang ready to excite the imagination.
For parents on that last minute shop for stocking fillers all the confectionery has gone but there are still some real toy bargains on sale as Parfitts is the latest business to close.
So, if you want to provide a last minute suprise at the works party by turning up as Santa Claus, then a visit to the shop or a phone call to 07762-774370, is the answer.
