Warminster Area Board dates revealed
(January 27, 2009)A PROVISIONAL set of dates for council meetings following the Wiltshire Council elections on 4 June is now available.
The first meeting of the fully-fledged Warminster Area Board will be held on Thursday 2 July followed by further board meetings on 24 September and 26 November - all Thursday evenings.
The west Wilts planning committee will meet on Tuesday evenings and work on a three-week cycle with the first meeting after the election scheduled for 23 June.
The first full council meeting will be held on 16 June when the council’s new chairman and leader will be chosen.
New council members will probably be expected to undergo some form of induction programme through the initial summer.
