Debate stimulated after VFW issues first ever press release
(February 23, 2010)Campaigners Challenge Council loan' is the front page lead of the Warminster Journal this week as pressure builds up on the town council over its decision to apply for a loan that cost well over £1.5 million to repay.

the loan. It had already provoked a flurry of letters to the editor.
Their first ever press release eighteen months after launching the
initiative to stimulate debate about the future of the market town hit
the front page.
