Viewing figures running at record level in May
(June 01, 2010)UNLIKE most websites we are completely open about our viewing figures and are pleased to announce a new record in May 2010.
The number of people looking at this website has reached more than 1,000 in a month for the first time in May - double the figure of last year.May's statistics reveal that 1,065 unique users logged on, visited the website 3,316 times in total and viewed 16,126 pages. (The viewing table is reproduced below)

''With the General Election and the ongoing controversial subjects of the Assembly Rooms and car parking charges it was always to be expected that May would be a busy month,'' said vfw co-author Steve Dancey.
''However some of the most popular items have been those not linked to these subjects so we will be improving the pages covering shopping in the town and the historic Warminster page with additional, previously unpublished, photos.
''Our policy of providing this site without any advertising remains.
''We do not publish straight news items either - that is the job of our local newspapers - but will continue to comment and provide hopefully stimulating and controversial topics to increase interest in the town.
''We will also continue to produce picture spreads of interesting town events in the interests of town promotion.''
