Bustards to flock up for Olympics
(November 12, 2011)All sorts of people can be found on facebook and so many
re-introductions have been made since its launch so the re-introduction
of the Bustard on to Salisbury Plain is now writing a new page in its
future, thanks to local artists.
As part of their plans to link the huge Wiltshire bird
in a stimulating way with Warminster and surrounding villages
facebook.com/GoBustards! has been set up for internet users.
Go Bustards! 2012 has also been timed to occur at the
same time as the Queen's Diamond Jubilee all the way through to the
Olympics and the start of the Warminster Festival.
Then the flock of replica Great Bustards will come together in the town park for 'a great day of art and fun'.
