(September 23, 2014)Warminster Town Council has to 'shake itself up' say several Independent councillors or it will add to the contempt that residents in the town currently hold for local government.
"I really believe that the amazing election result that occurred in Warminster in 2013 which saw Independents like me given the chance to speak up for the the public rather than impose on them government policy," says Warminster Town Councillor Paul Macdonald.
"We have now seen public apathy go away and I am speaking to scores of people daily about their ideas, views, and concerns.
"I know that other councillors are also having to listen. But will they act in the best interest of the residents they represent?"
