REMEMBRANCE Day 2010 dawned damp and cloudy and remained much the same for the rest of the day.
Unlike the rest of the country, which marks armistice at 11am, Warminster holds its main parade at 3pm.
This year soldiers from the band of the Royal Signals headed the procession through the town from Station Road to the magnificent Egerton Strong built memorial in Portway.
Rev Dennis Brett led the service and wreath layers included local MP and former naval officer Dr Andrew Murrison, councillors, representatives of the garrison and allied military services, police and fire service and many other local groups.
This year's service was the first to take place at the newly enhanced memorial, which now has more standing room and a much tidier appearance following the hard work undertaken by Richard Haes.
